Duck Race
This year’s duck race will be taking place on Sunday 5th September 2010, on a 1km stretch of the River Thames near Hampton Court Palace and aims to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for UK charities.
The ducks are loaded into Molseley Lock, Surrey from noon on race day with the launch at 1.30pm - the organisers are aiming to break their own World Record of 205,000 ducks!

Cancer and Bio-detection Dogs can share in the funds raised with a little help from our supporters. You are not restricted to one duck, you can buy as many as you like and tell your friends, family and colleagues…the more ducks we sell, the more funds the charity will raise.
How it works
It costs just £2 to adopt a duck plus a recommended donation of £3 per duck which comes directly to Cancer and Bio-detection Dogs.
Every duck entered has the chance to win a fantastic prize and the first duck across the line wins a massive £10,000!!
As well as race day there are virtual online race days with a monthly prize - once you have adopted your duck you will be automatically entered into the online duck race as well as the main race itself. The computer will select a duck number at random every month and if it’s your duck, you win…..simple! What’s even better your duck goes back in the draw for every race, so you can win again and again!
